Publish your site on instantwebsite.com

Publishing to an instantwebsite.com address is free. You need a hosting plan only to use your own domain.

Publish for the first time#

1. 1In the editor, press the green Publish button at the top right.
2. 2Sign in if asked. Press "Continue with Google", or type your email and enter the 6 digit code we send.
3. 3Under "Publish your site", check the Site name and the URL slug. The slug is the end of your address: instantwebsite.com/your-slug.
4. 4Press Publish.
5. 5Wait while we build and upload your site. It usually takes under a minute. Keep the window open, and play the game while you wait.
6. 6When you see "Site is live!", press "Open site" to see it.

Rules for your web address#

• 3 to 60 characters
• Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only
• It must not already be taken. If it is, try another one.

Publish your changes later#

Changes you make in the editor are not live until you publish again. Press Publish and your site goes straight to publishing. Each publish is saved in Version History.

If publishing fails#

If the build fails or the contact form needs a fix, the editor closes the publish window and asks the AI to fix it. When it is done, press Publish again. For other errors, press "Try again".
