Choose who gets contact form emails
In the editor, click the envelope button next to the chat, press Edit recipients, change the email addresses and press Save. Then publish so the change goes live.
Every site gets a contact form. When a visitor sends it, we save the lead in your dashboard and email it to the recipients you choose.
Change the recipients
- 1Open your site in the editor.
- 2Click the envelope button (Contact form recipients) in the toolbar next to the chat.
- 3Press "Edit recipients".
- 4Change an address, press "Add recipient" to add another, or remove one with the X.
- 5Press Save.
- 6Press Publish. The new recipients get leads once the site is published.
Check who gets leads
After you publish, the "Site is live!" screen lists your contact form recipients. Not right? Ask the chat to change the recipient and publish again.
Change them by chat
You can also type: Send contact form emails to office@yourbusiness.com and owner@yourbusiness.com.
If publishing stops on the form
We check your contact form and its recipients every time you publish. If something is wrong, the editor hands the problem to the AI to fix. When it is done, press Publish again.
Questions
Where else do my leads go?
Every lead is also saved under Submissions in My Sites and pushed to the InstantWebsite.com app on your phone.
Why don't I see the envelope button?
It shows when your site has a contact form with at least one recipient. Ask the chat to add a contact form.
Can my staff get leads too?
Yes. Add their emails as recipients, and invite them to your site as collaborators.
