Edit text by clicking on it

For small wording changes you do not need the chat. Edit the text right on the page.

Change text in place#

1. 1Open your site in the editor.
2. 2In the preview, click the text you want to change, like a heading or paragraph.
3. 3Type your new text.
4. 4Press Enter to save, or Escape to cancel.
5. 5Press Publish to put the change live.

Buttons and links#

Buttons and links in the preview work like on your live site, so clicking them does not edit them. Ask the chat instead, for example: Change the Book Now button to say Get a Quote.

Change a whole section with the magic wand#

Hover over a section of the page and a small magic wand appears. Click it to open Edit Section.

1. 1Hover over the section and click the magic wand.
2. 2Type what you want, for example: Make this section green, or Add a subtitle.
3. 3Press Apply and wait for "Applied" to show.

Editing is paused while the AI works#

While the chat is changing your site, you see "Editing is paused while your site is generating". Wait for it to finish, then click to edit again.
