Build your first website

Your first website takes about two minutes. You do not need an account or a card to build and preview it.

Build it step by step#

1. 1Open the start page.
2. 2Type your business name and your city, then press "Build my website free".
3. 3We look for your business on Google. When we find it, check the details under "Is this you?" and press "Yes, build my website".
4. 4Watch the checklist fill in: your pages, photos, contact form and search details. Keep the page open while it builds.
5. 5When you see "<your business> is online.", tap around the preview. Switch between Phone and Computer to see both.
6. 6Happy with it? Press "Put it live on <your domain>". Want a change first? Type it under "Want to change something?" and press "Change it".

What gets built#

The AI writes real pages for your business and your city. You get:

• Home, services, about and contact pages
• Your photos, hours and Google reviews, pulled in for you
• A working contact form that sends leads to your email
• Page titles and search details, so Google understands your business

While it builds#

Partway through, we ask "Where should we send your site?". Add your email so you do not lose your work, or press "Skip for now". See Save your site with your email.

Prefer the full editor?#

On a computer you can also start in the editor. Type something like: I own a bakery called Sweet Crumb in Pitman, NJ. The editor needs a computer or laptop screen. On a phone, build from the start page.
